  1. This disk contains DX7 voices from several sources.  Each .32 file is bulk
  2. data for one 32-voice bank.
  3.  
  4. I've removed many duplicate voices, but many remain as well.  Sometimes the
  5. same voice goes by more than one name, and patches with the same name sound
  6. completely different, but more often voices named the same are identical or
  7. very similar.

  9. I've never seen a patch copyrighted (I don't know whether one can be), but I
  10. haven't included banks from the Passport / Computers & Music or Hybrid Arts
  11. librarians or Bacchus Software's Voice Manager.  I've also respected the
  12. wishes of those who asked me not to share their patches.

  14. Special thanks to Personal Composer's author Jim Miller for collecting and
  15. distributing voices contributed by pc users.  (If you want these banks in pc
  16. format, send me mail for more information.)
